Booking and payment

You can book The Nest in two ways, at the same nightly rate. On Airbnb, you pay Airbnb by card, and Airbnb's terms of service and guest protections apply to that stay. On this site's booking page, when it is open, you pay Karl himself, by Whish, by debit or credit card through a secure Whish payment link he sends you, or as he agrees with you, and the terms on this page apply. Rates shown on this site match the listing; the calendar total is the total you pay, with cleaning and linens included.

A booking made on this site holds your dates for a limited time while you pay; the page shows how long. The booking is confirmed when Karl has received your payment, not when you report having sent it. If no payment arrives, the hold ends and the dates are released. If a payment arrives for dates that could no longer be kept for you, it is returned to you in full.

Cancellation of an Airbnb booking follows Airbnb's Moderate policy: full refund if you cancel at least 5 days before check-in. The listing shows the exact terms for your dates at the time of reservation. Cancellation of a booking made on this site follows the terms shown to you before you hold your dates; to cancel, message Karl on WhatsApp.

Occupancy and house rules

The chalet sleeps a maximum of three guests: two in the king bed and a third on the sofa bed. No parties and no additional overnight guests. Quiet hours outdoors after 11:00 PM. Sound carries down the valley.

Pets are welcome at no extra charge; tell us what you're bringing. Smoking is allowed on the patio only. The full house rules are published on this site and in the listing, and form part of these terms.

Check-in and ID

Check-in is from 3:00 PM by smart lock and checkout by 12:00 PM, flexible where the calendar allows. Lebanese General Security requires hosts to hold a copy of guests' ID for the duration of the stay; we ask for it before arrival.

Your responsibility

Guests are responsible for the chalet and its contents during their stay and for using the fire pit safely. Never leave it unattended. A small bag of firewood is provided with each stay; additional bundles are charged. RedRock's shared areas (pools, paths, deer reserve) have their own rules, which guests agree to follow.
