Is The Nest in Faraya, Kfardebian or Faqra?
Faqra, inside the Kfardebian municipality: RedRock sits in Faqra Club, eight minutes above the Faraya cafés and eight from the Mzaar Kfardebian lifts. A chalet in Faraya, in Kfardebian or near Mzaar all mean this one mountain; the names are the villages along its road.
How far is the chalet from the Mzaar ski lifts?
About eight minutes by car to the Mzaar Kfardebian parking, and three minutes to Faqra Club. It is not ski-in/ski-out; the trade is an indoor garage, a quiet gated village and a lower nightly rate.
Is there parking in winter?
Yes. A private space in RedRock's indoor garage is included, so the car never needs digging out of the snow.
Do I need a 4x4 to reach RedRock in winter?
Usually not. The road is maintained through the season. Snow tyres are recommended from December to March, and a 4x4 only after heavy snowfall. Every guest gets a road update the day before arrival.
What are the ski-season rates?
From 3 January to 25 March the chalet is $149 a night on weekdays and $169 on Friday and Saturday nights, cleaning included. Peak dates (13 to 15 February, 13 to 17 August and 1 to 29 December) are $169 and $189, and New Year (30 December to 2 January) is $299 and $349 with a three-night minimum.
